Randy & Dennis. We had just finished opening for Sonny Landreth and Shemekia Copeland in Charleston, WV. It was hot and humid. Yeah!!!

Reverse bending....

Someone asked, "Is there an easy way to play an F Major chord?"
Here's my answer.
"Playing the F Major chord is always a tuff one for beginners. One thing you must learn is the reverse bending of your end finger joints. Sooooo important in playing chords. An example is, to place the end of your index finger straight down on a flat surface and push down until the end joint starts to reverse bend. Its not extreme its just seeing how flexible your fingers are. It seems unnatural at first but it becomes natural the more you do it. So instead of trying to Grand Bar the F chord, just reverse bend your index finger across the E and B string on the first fret. Makes playing the F chord a whole lot easier." :-)
